Ali Leghari is Group Head Corporate & External Affairs for TCS, and its umbrella master-enterprise TRANZUM. He is tasked with the smooth facilitation of business, with a special emphasis on ensuring the legal integrity of transactions. 

 Ali is an agriculturist turned corporate executive, and hails from the progressive Leghari tribal clan settled in the border districts of Baluchistan, Sindh and the Punjab. His association with TCS has extended over 8 years, a period that he describes as productive and rewarding.  

During this period Ali’s career highlights include establishing the ‘Sentiments Express eCommerce’ website in 2001-02, as well as identifying and negotiating with the Civil Aviation Authority the land lease for the TCS new Head Office complex and logistics hub located at the Karachi Airport. Ali’s day gets spent liaising with various Governmental and non governmental agencies and managing the Corporate Office, Chairman’s secretariat and dealing with external affairs. Currently as Group Head Ali overseas the Hajj & Umra operations, VISATRONIX and the management development services entity Octara. 

Ali is an integral part of the TCS and TRANZUM team responding to the challenges posed by globalisation. He has led an active life on the sports field, with the game of squash as his particular passion.
